Extruders with CMG Motor or High Torque Drive

Extruders with CMG Motor

In addition to our standard extruders with flat gearboxes we also offer our extruders with cooled compact geared motor Type CMG.

The new geared motor series CMG is an innovation when it comes to compact drives for injection moulding machines, extruders and applications which necessitate an enormous power density, an extremely compact gearbox with 4-fold tooth engagement.


Extruders with High Torque Drive

Short configuration and low-maintenance are the main advantages of this drive form.

The smaller size of the direct drive entails no output losses whatsoever. The more compact configuration is achieved by water cooling, which is available in extrusion lines anyway. This allows for easy integration of the High Torque Drives into the machine concept. The gearless motors yield high peak moments of up to 13,500 Nm at low speeds between 100-300 rpm. The water cooling allows a relatively quiet operation.

This configuration not only saves space, it also minimizes maintenance. Belt and gear drives are simply redundant.
